The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires companies that provide motor fuels to purchase a certain amount of “cellulosic biofuel” to mix into their gasoline and diesel. If the companies fail to do this – they get fined. They have been fined.
The problem?
Cellulosic biofuel does not yet exist in the marketplace. So, it is literally impossible for these companies to purchase this substance.
Yes – companies are getting fined for not using a substance that does not yet exist.
Just another example of a federal agency not working for you, for the economy, or the environment.
If you are ready to elect someone to Congress with common sense – that cares about the environment and also understands the federal government is ineffective at protecting it – please help us and donate today!
