“I am sure that anybody who’s doing anything is unpopular somewhere,” is a quote hanging on my white-board, supposedly said by Ted Turner.
I am writing this post so that I can refer people to it throughout the campaign.
1. Yes, I am running Independent because neither party will have me (soul intact, and capable of truly representing the PEOPLE versus a PARTY).
2. Yes, I know that I could run for a “lesser” office first (by the way Establishment, there IS NO LESSER OFFICE – WE ARE EQUAL AS CITIZEN REPRESENTATIVES), but I don’t want to.
Listen, I am not going to sit down and I am not going to stand in line. I am an “average” American, and I want to represent the 3rd Congressional District in the House of Representatives. I can read and balance a budget, therefore I am more capable than a majority of people who are in office right now. We don’t need people in office with political experience, we need people in office with a conscience.
I am more capable than the incumbent Scott Tipton (R) and potential challenger Sal Pace (D) of doing what is right for my District and for my Country. I can say that because I have no other ties than to the people of this community – I can read the Constitution of the United States of America and I can balance a budget. I am also not going to D.C. to party, because that is the kind of irresponsible, reckless, and destructive behavior that has bankrupted my generation. The party is over – it is time to get to business, the “good old boys” can step aside and let a young business owner in there, I have a lot more to lose than they do and WE, as a community, have a lot more to lose than they do.
They are trying to take away your rights, your privileges, your country. They are trying to stop you from believing that you are competent enough to understand what is happening at a federal level. They want you to keep drinking their kool-aid and try to choose between the red pill or the blue pill. We have good news for you – you don’t have to participate.
Join us – join us and stand up for freedom.
