Almost a year and a half ago, I set out to run for Congress. With no money in the bank, I stood on a street corner and asked for contributions for pocket constitutions – this was the gas money that started my journey to run to represent Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.
Since that day, with the help of people like you, we have out-raised any third-party or independent/unaffiliated candidate in the history of our district. We have traveled more miles that the other party-backed, special-interest-backed candidates that I am running against.
After hearing from thousands of individuals – in our district and across the country – it is apparent that Congress is broken, and that we in our communities, counties, and States must step up to create and implement policies that work best for our citizens – for Coloradans.
After a lot of hard work, over 100,000 miles, several sets of tires and oil changes, as well as blood, sweat, and tears, we are in the last EIGHT days of our Independent and individual-funded run for Congress.
