Casida Signs U.S. House Term Limits Declaration
Tisha Casida, Independent candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District is the only candidate on the ballot for the 3rd Congressional District, who has signed the voluntary U.S. House Term Limits Declaration.
Casida says, “I do not want to be a life-time politician, I want to be a statesman. It is my job to represent the voices of all of the people in our district – and then I will live in this same community where the laws that are passed in Congress affects the daily lives of the individuals”.
She says that by being transparent, and willing to foster in the next generation that she “provides a viable and independent alternative to the establishment politicians who are not accountable to the people, but to the political parties and special interests that get them to D.C.”.
Current incumbent Republican Scott Tipton did not sign the term limits declaration and has been involved with the Republican party for several decades.
Democratic challenger Sal Pace has not signed the term limits declaration and has not been employed full-time by the private sector since graduating from college, being involved with the Democratic party for more than a decade.
